Woodworking industry software specialist Licom Systems has added a stair production package to its portfolio with the acquisition of Lignatec.
The new product, called AlphaStair, will be marketed alongside its existing software including AlphaCAM, AlphaDoor and AlphaCIM.
Lignatec concentrated on software for the staircase industry and managing director Richard Simmons has joined the Licom team to help further develop AlphaStair.
Ian Scott, Licom managing director, said: “The product is already well developed and fits the Licom philosophy of being easy to use while at the same time providing a comprehensive solution for a specific sector of the woodworking industry.”
