South Wales-based builders merchant Leekes Ltd has joined the Cemco independent merchant buying group.
The £55m-turnover company, which trades as Leekes Building Centres, has five sites in South Wales and the south-west.
Leekes is more than 100 years old and commercial director Emma Leeke is the fourth generation in the family business.
Cemco commercial director Mike Hillier said Leekes’ expertise in showrooms and importation would prove invaluable as it sought to develop other opportunities for its membership.
