Lawcris employee Mick Halton cycled across Death Valley in the US last month to raise funds for Wakefield Hospice.
Mr Halton’s gruelling five-day trek across Nevada raised £5,000 for the charity.
He was supported by Lawcris, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. “We fully support Mick’s commitment to this challenge; 2007 marks 25 years in business for Lawcris and throughout the year we have pledged to support a number of our employees in various fund-raising initiatives,” said marketing manager Hal Eccles.
