The Leeds-based company forecast sales of £32m, but hit £34m, representing annual growth of 21%.
Managing director Simon Hall said the shopfitting sector remained Lawcris’ biggest market and that it “continued to thrive”.
“It has become very design-led and we have been able to create demand for high-quality, cost-effective panel products.”
The company also secured “prestigious new customers” during the year and gained market share. Sales of melamine-faced MDF and chipboard were particularly buoyant.
Lawcris, said Mr Hall, also expanded its distribution area further into Scotland and southern England and increased its workforce to 135 to meet demand.
“We also see delivery and logistics as vital and invested over £350,000 in new vehicles,” he said.
In 2007 Lawcris predicts a further 20% growth.
“We see the 2012 London Olympics as a major opportunity and will look to expand product lines and develop new market sectors,” said Mr Hall.
