David Law, Lonza Wood Protection’s marketing services manager, will be walking the 82-mile Hadrian’s Wall Walk at the end of May to raise funds for medical treatment for his four-year-old relative.

Noah Woolford, who was not expected to survive the first night of his life, has quadriplegic spastic cerebral palsy. He uses an electronic communication aid and propels himself using a walking frame with wheels.

Now Noah has been confirmed as a candidate for selective dorsal rhyzotomy surgery at St Louis Children’s Hospital in the US, which gives him the chance to walk by himself.

Noah’s family and friends have set up the Noah Woolford Trust to raise the £25,000 for the operation, plus the additional costs of intensive physiotherapy.
