Arnold Laver Timber World has represented the UK timber industry at Canada’s largest construction show.
Group purchasing director Pat Burke attended Construct Canada 2007 in Toronto as part of an expert panel discussing the opportunities, demands and distribution of building products in the UK.
“It was great to be a part of this prestigious event and represent Arnold Laver Timber World, the UK timber trade and the generic UK building materials at an international show,” said Mr Burke.
“The event provided me with an opportunity to inform the audience about the UK industry, outlining the supply channels in the market and inform companies how to target, sell, market, distribute and manufacture their products in this country.”
Lavers was invited to represent the UK at the show by Canadian trade commissioner for construction and forestry, Jason Kee.
