The Latvian Forest Certification Scheme has applied to the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification schemes (PEFC) Council for re-endorsement.
PEFC has called for all interested parties and individuals to comment on the application as part of the report from independent assessor Indufor Oy.
“The public consultation is part of the extensive five-year revision and continuous process, which is undertaken for all PEFC endorsed certification systems,” said PEFC Council secretary-general Ben Gunneberg.
