Sales director Stephen Newton, who founded the company in 1984, said the Bristol-based business had won accreditation from the British Woodworking Federation window scheme in 2003.

“This is a great opportunity for us to make sure specifiers and architects are aware of the quality of our windows, especially as a lot of our work is in conservation areas,” he said.

Clifton Joinery employs 17 people and also provides specialist joinery, but about 70% of the £750,000 turnover is from bespoke windows.
