The construction products sector is achieving good levels of customer satisfaction, according to the latest key performance indicator (KPI) report from the Construction Products Association (CPA).

The report involved quizzing 1000 customers of CPA members participating in the organisation’s KPI scheme.

“The results show that over 80% of the 1000 customers (including contractors, clients, builders’ merchants and specialist contractors) surveyed were satisfied with the quality of the construction product and the reliability of its delivery, ” said the CPA’s policy development executive Rita Singh. ” The industry also scored well on value for money with over 80% of the customers interviewed satisfied with their completed orders.”

The CPA’s KPI’s focus on 15 performance areas related to customer satisfaction, environment and people.

Ms Singh said that while the results of the report were encouraging; “there is also scope in all areas for further improvement and we expect to see even better results in 12 months time”.
