The company opened a branch in Aspartria in Cumbria last November and now plans further branch openings in Richmond and Thirsk, said managing director Edwin Atkinson. He said the company was recruiting at various locations, including at the timber business in Stockton.
The company was established in 1860 and is still managed by sixth and seventh generation members of the Atkinson family based in Middlesbrough.
