The event was held at the new Innovation and Application Centre of Jowat, the industrial adhesives supplier based in Detmold in Germany.
This year’s symposium started with Lignotrend, a manufacturer of cross-laminated timber solutions and was rounded off by further lectures focusing on doors. The session ended with a look at research projects.
The new 2,500m2 Jowat Innovation and Application Centre will house the company’s research services, including several laboratories and application technology for clients, as well as exhibition and training rooms.
Two machinery halls facilitate operations such as edgebanding, wrapping and flat and 3D laminating applications.
