The OSB campaign JOSB Done has launched a new sample order service on its website, www.josbdone.com, aimed at builders and specifiers.

Alastair Kerr, director-general of the Wood Panel Industries Federation and JOSB Done spokesperson, said the website was a “one-stop shop for all OSB-related information” and provided “all the right information and a handy-sized sample at the click of a button”.

“Knowing how useful builders, merchants and specifiers have found the website, and with OSB consumption continuing to rise due to its competitive price point, strength and reliability, we wanted to take things one step further. For anyone who wants to find out more about OSB and see a sample, all they need to do is visit www.josbdone.com/order-osb-samples and fill out their details,” said Mr Kerr.

He added that a recent report by BIS Shrapnel identified that an upturn in the global economy over the next five years would increase OSB demand, particularly for housing construction and furniture manufacturing.

“This latest assessment paints a picture of great opportunity for the growth of OSB. Recognising that there has been a massive shift in favour of strong and sustainable wood panels in the last decade, the research indicates that this trend will continue and more countries will begin to benefit from its structural and environmental benefits,” said Mr Kerr.
