Mr Jenn previously worked for NHG Timber, which he joined after a graduating from Loughborough University where he studied politics and economics.
His role at LDT will include procurement of Far Eastern timber as well as UK sales for LDT’s entire hardwood range.
"I have always been extremely interested in economics and different markets and I find working in the timber industry fascinating," he said. "Timber is now one of the top global commodities in which the market is changing every day and demand for timber is set to increase."
Mr Jenn is a fanatical supporter of Charlton Athletic Football Club and he also likes to travel. Prior to taking up his new role, he spent four weeks touring New Zealand, Australia and Hong Kong.
