The developments – 25 homes at Marazion and 17 flats and houses at Bodmin – involved a similar specification based on JELD-WEN’s Stormsure windows, composite entrance doors and Clifton patio doors. All the windows were supplied with the company’s Hi build fully-finished paint, which comes with a 10-year guarantee.
The windows and doorsets were specified to meet U-values of 1.4W/m2K and the homes to level three of the Code for Sustainable Homes.
The ground floor windows and doorsets meet Secured by Design requirements, while at the Marazion development a combination of vertical sliding sash, tilt and turn and Sovereign Stormsure windows created the "varied street scene" the developer was keen to achieve.
