John Brash has supplied anti-slip decking for a £16m eco-friendly development at Oxford Brookes University.

Main contractor Leadbitter Group specified JBCitideck for the roof terrace, ground level terraced areas of the postgraduate lounge and balconies from the student flats.

“Our general requirement was for timber decking to fit with the natural aspect of the design – the ground floor terrace surrounds and cantilevers over the central water feature,” said Michael Magri of project architect GSS Architecture.

“The anti-slip requirement was a major priority in this area, which will have heavy pedestrian traffic throughout the year.”

JBCitideck is created using resin-based aggregate inserts.
