Japan and Sarawak have agreed to continue with joint forest research.
A memorandum of understanding has been signed by the Sarawak Forestry Corporation and the Japan Research Consortium for Tropical Forests in Sarawak.
The signing took place during the opening of an international symposium on forest ecology, hydrometeorology and forest ecosystem rehabilitation in Sarawak on November 29-30.
