Timber and panel distributor James Latham has clinched a major deal with chemical company LG Chem to distribute LG HI-MACS Natural Acrylic Stone in the UK.
The solid surfaces market is worth £15m and is growing at 10% per year. Chris Sutton, director of panel products for James Latham, said: “There is a lot of myth and mystique surrounding natural acrylic stone and we aim to dispel this through offering a series of practical training sessions and workshops that will show the versatility and ease with which this material can be used.”
He said James Latham will proactively target commercial and residential markets through its national distribution network.
