The Institute of Wood Science (IWSc) has reported good demand for places for its Jubilee Conference at Carpenters’ Hall, London, on November 3.

The IWSc, which is celebrating its 50th year, has also seen a positive response from members for the Jubilee Dinner, to be held at Haberdashers’ Hall on November 2.

The organisation has seen a growth in registrations for its foundation course during 2005, as well as a good response to the new distance learning certificate course based on modules.

Registrations for the conference, sponsored by 20 organisations including TTJ, are available on the IWSc’s website, www.iwsc.org.uk
