A packed programme is planned by the Institute of Wood Science for its national conference in Liverpool on September 27-29.
Based around the theme of innovation, design and manufacture, the conference will include speakers from Stewart Milne Timber Systems, Aberdeen; Nigel Braden Timber, East Sussex; FIRA International Ltd; George Barnsdale & Sons Ltd, Lincolnshire; McConnel Wood Products, Dumfriesshire; HLD Ltd of Lincolnshire and Jaguar Cars.
They will present their papers on Friday, September 28 after which delegates can enjoy pre-dinner drinks courtesy of Timber Trades Journal and a tour of the local radio station before the gala dinner in the evening.
On the day prior to the conference, delegates and their partners can visit Jaguar Cars Ltd’s factory at Halewood, Merseyside.
