The latest government guidance on wood procurement and new European codes and standards, including eco-standards, will be hot topics at the Institute of Wood Science annual conference in Birmingham on September 30.
Aimed at architects, designers and engineers as well as wood specialists, the conference will include presentations from DEFRA, BRE, TRADA and wood industry leaders. Three high profile case studies on wood procurement and performance will also be presented.
For the first time this year, all the short-listed projects in the Wood Awards 2004 will be on display.
