The International Tree Foundation (ITF) is launching environmental awards for members aged 18-25.
Each year the most effective UK tree planter and the best ITF publicist/fundraiser will be awarded around £1,000 to visit an ITF planting project overseas and report progress to ITF’s council. Projects for 2003 include Rwanda, Manipur, Madagascar and Tamil Nadu and the Sahara.
A discretionary award may also be made to reward outstanding achievement.
