The company, which operates out of three sites in Dublin, Cork and Sligo, has achieved Chain of Custody Certification for a range of schemes, including FSC, PEFC and BM TRADA Forest Products.
“We feel that this is a very important step forward for Abbey Woods and shows our commitment to the environment,” said Dave Roche, Abbey Woods’ purchasing director.
The company imports a wide range of American, European and tropical hardwoods, as well as veneers, decking, cladding and construction timbers.
