Navan-based Sherlocks found its initial foray into the sale of timber gates and garden furniture so successful that it is expanding its link-up with Sheeran’s Garden Gate service to include a range of domestic garden products, from fencing to planters.
Sherlocks director John Sherlock, a woodturner by profession, said the company initially opened a small retail section on its warehousing site. Now the outlet will be expanded, with stock refilling services being offered by Sheerans.
Sheerans’ Garden Gate “shop within a shop” concept is basically a solution for any retail outlet looking to add outdoor wood to its business. The service includes provision of point of sale equipment, staging and signage.
Sheerans’ business includes non-standard packaging and pallet manufacturing, wood recycling and production of garden furniture, gates and outdoor wood products.
