Consul-general of Ireland Cliona Manahan has paid a flying visit to Windymains Timber in Scotland.

Ms Manahan was joined in the St Patrick’s Day visit, organised by Enterprise Ireland, by Irish government minister John Moloney.

Windymains, as well as Adam Wilsons in Troon, is owned by the Ireland-based sawmilling business Glennon Brothers Group.

Mr Moloney said Windymains represented a visible partnership between Scotland and Ireland.
