The Institute of Carpenters (IoC) has launched an online search facility to help contractors, designers and architects find a specially trained craftsmen.
The Find A Professional tool has been designed to help anyone with a need for a professional craftsmen to source the “right person for their project”.
It allows users to specify their own requirements for the craftsman and search by area and speciality, such as joinery, shopfitting, wood machining, restoration and carpentry.
“Our members are highly experienced craftspeople with exceptional standards and this new online tool will make finding people with specifically required talent and experience much easier,” said IoC director Duncan King.
