More than 200 exhibitors from around the world have booked space at the upcoming Dubai Wood Show.

The event, which takes place at Dubai Aiport Expo from April 13-15, will cover the full range of timber and wood products, plus flooring, joinery, treatments, finishes and machinery.

Exhibitors include delegations of suppliers from China, Germany, Argentina, UAE, Malaysia and the USA. Canadian, Lithuanian and Swiss businesses are also represented.

Visitors are expected from throughout the Dubai and wider Middle East construction and wood processing sectors .

The event will also feature a series of forums, round tables and workshops about the industry and trading in the region.

“The show will be a launch pad where industry players can explore the wealth of business opportunities in the ever-expanding Middle East wood sector,” said managing director of strategic marketing and exhibitions Dawood Al Shezawi. “Investors and business developers will also be able to connect with free zone representatives and logistics and supply chain service providers to learn about key requirements for entering the market.”
