Interbuild 2009 is moving date and reducing in length by a day in response to feedback from exhibitors at last year’s show.

The next show will now take place over four days from October 18-21.

Organisers cited the autumn half-term and the need to reduce the cost of taking staff out of the office as key reasons for the change.

At Interbuild 2008 both visitor and exhibitor numbers were down on previous years as it moved to an annual event.

“We have decided to change the dates for the 2009 show to avoid the autumn half-term break and ensure we attract even more visitors this year,” said event director David Pierpoint.

“The decision to make the show four days was also in response to exhibitor feedback.

“They feel that they can pack the same amount of business into the four days, plus the expense of having staff on the road is reduced,” he said.
