The event, held at London’s prestigious Savoy hotel on Thursday September 14, celebrates service excellence and achievement in the UK timber industry.
This year’s Awards ceremony will be hosted by former CBI director-general Sir Digby Jones, the latest in an illustrious line of speakers at the event which has also included MPs William Hague, Michael Portillo and Roy Hattersley, TV personalities Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen and Jeremy Paxman and former England cricket captain David Gower.
The Awards kicks off with a champagne reception, followed by a three-course meal. Sir Digby will address the audience and present the awards to the winners.

He added that the Awards would have a number of special guests this year including Tim Rollinson, director-general of the Forestry Commission, Beatrix Richards, head of forests trade and policy at the Worldwide Fund for Nature (WWF), and representatives of the London 2012 Olympic Delivery Authority.
