According to the International Tropical Timber Organisation’s latest market report, the total revenue from V-legal wood product exports in January and February was more than US$534m, compared with US$237m reported during the same period in 2012.
The V-legal proof of legality licensing system, part of the SVLK legality verification system, became compulsory for Indonesian wood exports in January. Earlier exports came under the previous BRIK system.
