Tickets for one of the UK’s leading timber construction events, TRADA’s In Touch with Timber on May 18, are still available.
The conference, aimed at architects, designers, engineers and timber companies, will feature leading speakers from the architectural world including Andrew Waugh, of Waugh Thistleton Architects, and Paul Fast of Fast and Epp Engineers.
The afternoon seminar session will include a detailed look at topics including timber buildings helping to tackle climate change, wood window performance, thermal comfort using timber frame, a summary of new engineered timber products, reusing timber within refurbishment projects and a look at how EC5 may change the structural timber market.
The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre is once again playing host to the event.
