Indonesia is threatening to end informal discussions with Malaysia unless the country shows it is serious about stopping the smuggling of illegal logs from Indonesia.
Koes Saparjadi, Indonesia’s director-general for forest protection and nature conservation, said Malaysia had asked for a meeting in March, but added that the outcome of the last meeting was still being evaluated.
