A roof incorporating 60 trusses in 20 different profiles has been designed to give a Leicestershire village bungalow two-storey accommodation.

Truss Rafter Association member H&S Timber Systems won the £6,800 contract at Gaddesby and designed the new 20m-long structure, incorporating floor joists, using a Wolf Systems programme. The pitch of the existing roof was too low to permit habitable rooms within the roof space.

The roof includes four dormer and six Velux windows.
