Howarth Timber Engineering is swapping suppliers of engineered wood products from iLevel to Boise.
“iLevel’s announcement in January to exit the UK market has left suppliers and builders with a key decision regarding future supply of engineered wood products,” said Howarth Timber Engineering managing director Roger Smith.
“We have chosen the Boise product as it is an exact depth match for the iLevel range and will involve minimum disruption to convert designs.”
Boise’s I-joist and LVL products are distributed in the UK by Crown Timber.
Finnforest acquired iLevel’s European business in January and intends to phase out the iLevel range, while increasing production of its own Finnjoist I-joist product.
