The SilentFloor engineered floor system has been used for the refurbishment of buildings at New Cross Hospital in Wolverhampton.
The floor – from Birmingham Boards Timber World – has a ‘no squeak’ guarantee and is claimed to accommodate longer unsupported spans than conventional timber flooring. The product from Weyerhaeuser‘s Trus Joist business, has a low moisture content which eliminates the need for remedial work.
