The planned acquisition of Hornitex‘s remaining three factories in Germany by Krono Group Switzerland is now before competition authorities.
The Federal Cartel Office in Bonn is considering the deal, concluded last December between the Krono Group and Hornitex’s insolvency administrator.
The need for anti-trust approval has been one of the factors holding up completion of the deal, which was orginally scheduled to be finalised in March.
Krono Group wants to acquire Hornitex’s factories in Horn-Bad Meinberg, Duisberg and Beeskow.
