Hoppings Softwood Products has installed an eight-head Weinig Hydromat 2000 moulder at its Epping depot and expects a 10% increase in productivity.
The company said the use of efficient machinery such as the Hydromat, which operates at 100m/min, coupled with the flexibility of its two manufacturing depots was ensuring continued sales growth of its Q-Line and Q-Deck softwood product ranges.
Hoppings installed a new machining line and automated re-saw line at its Lingfield branch in 2001 and 2005 respectively.
