The Scottish Forest Industries Cluster and the Irish Council for Forest Research and Development will host seminars in late April to address innovation in expanding markets for home-grown timber.

The ‘Conceptualisation to Commercialisation’ workshop will be held in Dublin on April 29 and in Edinburgh the following day.

The event will cover: funding and support available to foster innovation; the accreditation process; and how new products and processes have been successfully commercialised in the past with particular regard to, for example, identification of suitable partners and testing requirements.

Enquiries about the Edinburgh and Dublin workshops should be directed to Catriona Prebble on 0131 220 9292 and Joe O’Carroll on 00 353 1 7067700 respectively.
