Homag Treff 2013, on September 24-27, will be held at the Homag headquarters in Schopfloch and Holzma’s Holzbronn, Germany.

Homag said the event would be a chance for customers to see further developments from its new technology shown earlier this year at Ligna.

Highlights will include the new operating system powerTouch, which standardises all Homag Group machines so they can be operated using the same interface.

Updates to woodCADICAM 10.0 include 3D modelling with Boolean operations for complex geometries and graphical programming of five-axis processing with 3D simulation of individual processing steps.

Both Homag and Weeke will present their latest innovations for the joinery and panel processing sectors, including the launch of the latest version (7.0) of WoodWOP, featuring more developments for five-axis machining.

"With well over 50 machines being demonstrated, the Treff is not to be missed by anyone looking to improve their production processes," said Simon Brooks, Homag UK sales and marketing director.
