Almost a million pounds worth of business was made at Homag UK’s recent open house exhibition, with over 80 companies attending during the three day show.

Seven sales were concluded during the event, held at Homag’s Castle Donnington headquarters on March 12-14, and managing director Ian Brown noted that there was potential for more to be made from “high-quality enquiries”.

Representatives from companies across the woodworking sector were in attendance and saw demonstrations of a wide-range of machinery from entry-level to industrial application technology, according to Homag.

This included the BHX500 dual panel processing centre, BHP210 CNC machining centre and multi-axis Venture 5 CNC machine from Weeke; Brandt’s KDF660, KDN210 and KDN340 edgebanders; Holzma‘s HPP230 saw; and Bütfering’s STO213 belt sander.

Attendees were also given the opportunity to discuss financing options with Homag and the Bank of Scotland through the Homag Finance scheme.
