A timber bridge and viewing platform have been constructed in a wooded gorge in Scotland to give people access to Spectacle E’e Falls.

South Lanarkshire Council contracted HLD Ltd of Gainsborough to replace a decaying 20-year-old wooden bridge over the streams and gulleys, plus the old viewing platform.

The company supplied a 5×0.7m kit bridge and a platform supported by timber trusses to give a good view of the waterfall. For added safety, antislip decking was installed.
