The race is on to save the 135-year-old Cutty Sark which is in desperate need of an overhaul.
The Cutty Sark Trust is asking the national Heritage Lottery Fund for £11.75m to restore the vessel, which has a wrought iron frame clad in timber, and make it a more exciting place to visit.
The tea clipper is the venue for TRADA‘s 70th anniversary reception on July 8.
