The Centre for Timber Engineering in association with England Forest Industries Partnership is to hold a workshop to train people in a new system for the appearance grading of UK-grown hardwood timber.
The workshop follows the production of a Forestry Commission document which will provide a guide to the full range of quality availability of UK hardwoods. This will aid marketing by giving a more consistent approach to the specification of UK hardwoods.
The workshop will be held on June 2 at Forest Enterprise, 340 Bristol Business Park, Coldharbour Lane, Bristol.
