Sawmill manager Henry Jones has completed 50 years’ service at GE Robinson & Co Ltd.
Mr Jones started work as a labourer before studying to become a machinist at Manchester College of Building, and progressing to foreman. He has been sawmill manager for 25 years.
He will retire at the end of May and will continue his hobbies of caravanning and fishing.
