Tasmania-based forestry group Gunns Ltd has posted a 42% growth in annual net profits to A$105.3m.
The company, which reported sales of A$674m for the year to June 30, said it was experiencing strong global demand for timber products.
Its hardwood division, including timber and hardwood chips, saw a 6% increase in sales. Profits rose by 25% to A$143.3m.
