Home improvement and building products company Group BHD has completed a management buyout led by chairman and chief executive Bill McGrath.
The firm, which makes timber patio doors and non-wood products, was bought from founders, the Davies family.
The deal, for an undisclosed sum, follows significant investment at new factories in Washington, Birkenhead and Universal Point in the West Midlands.
