A Russian environmental agency has filed a lawsuit to try to halt construction of a timber processing plant for Egger Drevprodukt.
The Interregional Environmental Prosecutor’s Office, Volga, wants to stop building of the factory in Shuya, Ivanovo.
Meanwhile, Steinert Industries GmbH is planning to spend €8m establishing a timber processing facility in the Yaroslavl region at its subsidiary Eco-Tekhnoles.
