A fresh Greenpeace report claims to unmask the face of illegal logging in the state of Pará, Brazil.

The publication, called “State of Conflict”, says powerful logging companies and cattle ranchers are destroying the Amazonian landscape and luring workers into the modern day equivalent of slavery.

Greenpeace says Pará is the Amazon’s largest producer and exporter of wood products and the scene of one-third of the region’s total deforestation.
