Greenpeace has repeated its shipping container protest – this time on a logging road in the Umpqua National Forest, Oregon.

Eight activists were arrested following the protest about 70 miles east of Roseburg.

Two protestors were locked inside the container, posting comments on Greenpeace’s website, another was up a 20ft pole overhead, while a third was secured to the container.

The environmental group’s campaign is intended to draw attention to old growth logging practices in the state.
