Greenpeace co-founder Dr Patrick Moore will be the guest speaker at the awards ceremony of the 2005 ForestLeadership Conference.
Dr Moore will talk about his life, from early days as a Greenpeace activist to more recent work as an international consultant, author and public speaker. He will also discuss his “Trees are the Answer” petition which so far has 3,500 signatures.
The Toronto conference, on March 1-3, will feature some 40 speakers, including director of the United Nations Forum on Forests Pekka Patosaari, Ontario’s natural resources minister David Ramsay and associate chief of the US department of agriculture Sally Collins.
