Charles Fisher has been appointed as a non-executive director of Grafton Group plc.
Mr Fisher, who has a background in property investment and building materials, was chief executive and chairman of UK builders merchant Sharpe & Fisher plc from 1989-1999. He is former non-executive chairman of Mowlem plc and is a former director of a number of other public companies including Travis Perkins plc, Baggeridge Brick plc, South Western Electricity plc and Delta plc. He is currently non-executive chairman of Country Homes & Gardens plc.
Peter Wood has resigned as a director for personal reasons.
